The Competitor is the perfect entry-level adult basketball system, designed for players who have outgrown NET1’s junior hoops and are ready for their first full-size setup.

Expanded Play Area

Featuring a fully portable blow-moulded offset Hex Base, the Competitor provides a 270° play space, thanks to its recessed design. Two integrated wheels allow for effortless movement, while the base enhances lay-ups and under-the-hoop play.

Maximum Height, Maximum Performance

Built for durability, the Competitor boasts a pad-protected, powder-coated three-piece solid steel pole with a 7.62cm diameter and a 1.2mm thick wall. The collar adjustment system allows for quick height changes from 2.28m to 3.05m (7’5” - 10’) in minutes—no tools required.

Game-Ready Design

The impact-resistant polypropylene backboard is shaped for optimal performance and reinforced with a rear-mounted steel T-Bar for superior rebound quality. A fixed, full-size, high-visibility orange steel rim with a 2.5mm backplate, along with a durable all-weather 12-loop nylon net, completes this high-performance system.

Notes.

The regulation ring height for the adult game is 3.05m (10 ft). However, provision is also made for younger players who would struggle to shoot a ball that high. Therefore, High 5 netball (9-11-year olds) use rings set at 2.74m (9 ft) high and First Step netball (7-9-year olds) rings should be 2.44m (8ft) high.
